The Los Angeles Dodgers have been the talk of MLB free agency.

No team has spent more money and improved their roster more than the Dodgers.

They have already spent over $1 billion on players in free agency and they may not be done.

The signing of Shohei Ohtani for 10 years and $700 million has been the move of free agency.

But, there was another major move the Dodgers made to bolster their starting rotation.

That was signing Yoshinobu Yamamoto to a 12-year, $325 million contract.

He is a Japanese pitching star who has all the ability to be a Cy Young winner in MLB.

Many fans were wondering what number Yamamoto would wear with the Dodgers.

According to MLB Jersey Numbers, Yamamoto will wear No. 18.

The Dodgers have built as close to a superteam as we will see in MLB.

Last season, Ohtani won the AL MVP.

While Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts were finalists for NL MVP.

Now all three of them will be hitting in the same lineup.

As for their pitching staff, they traded for former Tampa Bay Rays star Tyler Glasnow.

He is an ace who has battled numerous injuries throughout his career.

But, when healthy, he has a chance to be one of the best starters in the game.

Glasnow will be followed by Yamamoto, Walker Buehler, and Bobby Miller.

Ohtani will be unable to pitch next season due to elbow surgery that he received in September.

If this team can remain healthy, anything short of a World Series would be a major disappointment.
